The shitty things about Korean law really messed up many people from students to cops.
The cops there were mostly unarmed and they can only be armed in a big raid that involves known arm and dangerous criminals. Even when armed, they also couldn’t use it if the criminals only use knife and when met with criminals with guns, they couldn’t do a lethal shot even when their life is threaten without firing a waning shot to the air first.
