That’s more than 2.199 trillion monsters, even if it only take one second per average to kill a monster (realistically it’ll take longer) it’s still 2.199 trillion seconds that’s about 69,534 years and that’s just the 42th layer..damn he is ancient!

To have a rough idea, as surface doubles each level gives:
900m2 x 2^N
where N is the number of levels. So for level 42 the surface is 4.000.000.000 km2. This is roughly 8 times the earth surface, including the seas. In terms of “earth ground” it is 27 times the earth o_O. Quite a place to explore to find a key.
