Where did information on the fox come from? Now that I think about it, Where is he? What plane/realm? I thought he travelled through time or to a new realm through the portal way back. If so HOW TF is the fox here? If not and he just went to a different part of the world, Why is checking on his sister not his top priority. 
Also, He had that old dude and young lady leave their village then left them with the peacocks that want to kill him. What a wonderful MC.
My head is starting to hurt trying to connect the random happenings in this story.
