how i feel about this story.
there is one thing i observe that they are mentioning northern ice sector a lot and as an experience manhwa or manhua reader i can say wifieeee is coming! 
I love how he’s praising the MC at the same time images are showing MC beating the sh.it out of his team members. haha – really good writing and comical reflection
He already did realize that, remember when he said to himself that he will not walk alone anymore?
He doesn’t know that MC took some martial energy medicinal marijuana and is stronger now

…little does he know that MC has teh pills, teh lost techniques, and is personally raising 4 beasts…
if you know that he is a rare genius even in the standard of the past huasan sect.
We all know he’s wrong but he’s absolutely right at the same time, MC would absolutely act like the sect leader thought he would if he didn’t have the experience of his past life (as seen throughout the story) and has no way to get that experience normally. This way we as readers understand why they think that way without thinking less of them. The writing of this series is really good
