Ye can be a Dwarf wi no Beard but they mean many things ta us, it be a sign o age responsibility status an the lasses love em, also they grow back like a gorse bush.
Had mine burned off wi Dragonfire an it was back within a week.

Thinking about it, if dwarves were adjusted to modern society and tech, this would likely be their appearance. The need for brawns is less and beards would likely not be as popular either. With propore skin care they very well would look like children with out muscles and beards and convenients over modern tech to do their craft.
