wait did they give any reason as to why his level was reset and skills were sealed?
my best guess is his body has atrophied and as he gains back all the muscle and mana he’ll level up and his skills will get unlocked
I think I can say for everyone when we knew this was going to happen when everyone read “Guilds”. 
Plot bullsh!t. AH, how much I hate when a writer does this sh!t.
Who would possibly find it plausible that a world class hero is forced to take an exam to get a license, without considering that it’s absurd in the first place that his old one isn’t valid anymore and can’t just be made again.
Just so unbelievably bullsh!t.
Plus this other plot convenience that his abilities are sealed so he has to start from zero, how boring. And of course, despite the incredible advancements the world did in these 25 years thanks to the magic and resources of the 2nd floor, there are no magic potions to increase his magic potential so that he can immediately release his comrades, because the writer thinks we’re all a bunch of nerd loners who want a loner MC doing all solo.
Again, boring.
I know a lot of people don’t mind either way but I hope when it comes times to facing feinds he actually kills them and not just defeats them yk. But either way works IG.
if they can’t contain the fiends….kill them….they are terrorists and putting a death penalty for their crimes would decrease the amount of fiends
