once again this proves that he needs to spend more time mastering frost
For anyone confused by how he’s trapped, H used the mist as a source to freeze him entirely, the mist was inside of his armor as well as in his body itself, so he basically turned him into an ice statue before stabbing him
Alright, im going to add to this. Not because I want to start a fight, im just a reader who wants to enjoy reading 
IMO…I remember that the Ice Queen was able to make a LOT of things with ice that was hard as steel. Also Sr. Kis had his feet frozen, then Mc froze his armor which he prob couldnt move. The fog was also pretty thick, maybe that helped with making the ice stronger…? Also the things we see are probably happening a lot faster than we think. But this is just my opinion

Concentrated water vapor so thick the MC lost visibility, and the MC is literally the student of an ice mage spirit the entire time….they’re literally in her kingdom!
So no, there is no plot armor in this chapter.
well, probably butas he said the amount of vapour was quite enought to make a huge amount of ice so it was not that thin, secondly sir kis cannot emit any energy from body to break ice so could be reason for not breaking ice in time , but as you summarized it ( plot armor )
Imma be real I expected kis to look a lot ig taller like a lord of cinder almost also mc (in the novel) he gets used to cold to the point he actually starts sparring the knights with like a plain white shirt and long pants
