i would imagine the level classification is different than back at specter’s era. the higher levels would eat rhe lower levels for breakfast, but the mc is an exception to the rule, imagine this, you’re a 6th dan at a renowned kyokushin dojo in modern day murica, but then some young barely legal farmer boy gets isekaied into the future from what we now know as okinawa from the late 18th century pre japanese annexation, you would think that you’re quite high leveled in martial arts, but you still got yo ass handed by the farmer boy, the reason is probably because levels don’t do well in terms of classification, mainly because fighting prowess is determined by experience, not training. much like how some non commisioned soldiers that are ranked higher but his comrades who are still an enlisted with the same amount of time will most likely be more combat oriented, because he never knew training and tactics therefore relied simply on instinct.
Why do effort when some random level 30 MC can 1-shot you even if you did everything possible just to reach level 70..
