Little history tidbit, the spear is the most common battlefield weapon and therefore one of the best. We still use spears today in the form of the bayonet, a testament to its value and versatility. The rapier had a short period of actual battlefield use, mostly as the sidearm for Spanish officers. Otherwise it was a very good dueling and self defense weapon. But any sword but a greatsword against a spear is at a disadvantage. Pitch the right weapon for the job, don’t just lionize swords, cool though they are.

I just can’t understand him.. teachers don’t always have the same level of authority that nobles have… so they’re things they can’t do (they can guide the student, not control them, they can’t just do what they want, because of the difference in position, even if they do what they want, they might somehow end up offending their high ranking parents), so of cause there was going to be an invisible hierarchy established (It’s just like in real life, even though there is “equality”, the actions of teachers with children of high class citizens are still limited)… and due to his actions, I’m sure some of them should’ve learnt of his identity… I mean, that girl said it in public, even if the teacher didn’t hear, some other student must have heard.. It’s honestly hard to believe he’s supposed to have the IQ of a middle aged man, and honestly, calling something an entire family spent their life training, improving and are obviously good at… calling it trash, is honestly disrespectful.
