I think we need to clarify the reason this book ranks Spears lower than swords and daggers. Its linked to Aura usage. Aura can powerup sbdy to break a building, that logic makes anything that can be powered up by it superior .Swords seem to be the upper limit for masters and The human mana core here. That’s why the MC being at MS5(magic spearmanship 5)Not even the highest rank, was regarded as the strongest Knight. That’s becoz of Aura strength. At base a spear is superior to a sword with the fact superhuman are excluded. A blade has stab, slash and a small moment force to the attack points. A stab only spear is inferior since it lacks slash, which is more omnidirectional. A spear with blade covers this, but still uses more energy, hence less speed. Adding superhuman to this mix nullifies the slowdown factor. THE BLADED SPEAR IS SUPERIOR IN ATTCK WITH PROPER AURA APPLICATIONS. But a dagger us stronger than that spear if it has aura when the spear doesn’t
