Major change from the novel. In it she gives him Catchpaper and he goes and hunts these little fluffy wind elephants. When you kill a monster in the novel there is a chance catch paper can absorb the rune for you to learn later. She gave him the paper and location of the wind elephants on the condition that he get her a greater wind rune too. A whole mini-training arc was cut in this.
