Well, it’s up to the author wether or not the demon is a lying through their teeth right now / not being “awakened” fully as a demon or they just friendly
Author should’ve had the demon stab her in the back at the end of the chapter. Would’ve been a crazy plot twist
My theory is that Vermil is the “2nd Demon” that was summoned.
