Fighting – gaining items – explaining items and skills – accepting mission – fighting again. Nothing more nothing less. Why they’re so mich fixated at that?

It kinda feels like the MC has lost his goal. I get that becoming as strong as possible and to beat the ppl from his previous life is his goal, but what does he need to reach that level of strength? What level was he in the past (can’t recall if it was mentioned), what is the level cap he needs to reach? What pieces of armor and what achievements does he need to get to become sufficiently strong? Why is he entering those dungeons, how does it help? Does the game setting and systems make sense (it feels like they make less and less sense recently)?
The story was badass because he faced situations in MMOs that gamers have seen or heard of, but at this point it is in the “unbelievale” phase with nonsensical game systems. At least Overgeared spent time fleshing out the NPC world and how dynamically the players can change the world, it feels like this game hasn’t done that, while still showing situations where the sometimes it seems like that would be a part of the game, while other times he has to follow quest and npc systems that indicate that the world and quests are on rails and u can only optimize things.
