Just a tip or rather my opinion.
Instead of intangible I would use bodiless or abstract or nonphysical which are all synonymous to “intangible” but probably the best choice here would be astral/transcendental sword

If MC has an intangible sword, and only the Gatekeepers can have them, does it mean he took it from his “boss”, so he’s actually the real Gatekeeper?
