It is painful that it’s only these eccentric stories that break with tropes.
When a major enemy enters a new form, you normally just see everyone waiting with their mouth wide open. These guys, despite being out of their league, at least have the common sense to immediately jump into action and try out if a suprise attack is effective.

This manga really never does let up until the very end. I mean last boss just showed up and then Hagen starts giving birth TO SIEG?!?!
