Why not a headshot, middle of chest is not a confirmed kill, I’m guessing the writer and/or artist were like oh she has boobs so we should let the reader know or something else similarly dumb. Also she’s using a non pointy staff? Not something lethal, like say, a gun? Whatever, I have to read the next chapter so I can complain about it too

MC is such an unlikeable AH. I hope this story gets some sort of direction soon. He is a criminal, turning all super high moral for what? He didn’t achieve anything yet.
