So since the existence of the God-chosen is of such inportance, Claude being a “Hero” is possibly considered to be a threat to the existence of the Demon King, or even a potential one? Perhaps that’s why he’s being targeted? Because Yuri’s patron God put her and another God-chosen on a scale, and decided to favor his own.
