Well, that’s because it is incredibly sad. The entire kingdom was annihilated, thousands if not more died. Link’s memories were lost and Zelda was trapped and suffering fighting all by herself for 100 years and all that right after losing her father. All four warriors were killed leaving their loved ones behind and in the case of the sora, her little brother and her father were still alive when the game began so like… its pretty messed up if you ask me.
