Bro I think that the mom could have been an angel or a demi-god or something because the angel just said that he can’t interfere with life and death. Like he did say that he wanted to see if all humans are evil or something ‘just like Satan said’ but this leaves the question of weather or not he was the one to send him back in time or was it some other entity?

It seems that the heavens have ranks so it could have been a greater rank that made him go back. Also the fact that his evil aura is still there means that the past has and did happen rather than being sent back in time to a completely fresh slate.

Thing is, because he wants to get rid of the sins he has committed he will have to write them in this reality and most likely have to complete many more good deeds (because I’m assuming that sins have a higher negative value than the positive of good deeds).

Story would probably end with him sacrificing himself and then instead of going straight to heaven, instead returning back to reality, which would most likely give him a positive aura. – This is just a complete guess though.

TLDR; I think that he has some supernatural ancestry, the angel we see isn’t the one who is completely in control and that he will have to work real hard to remove those sins of his.
