All I can think of, is that the author is just causing these heartbreaks, by having every single person with a womb fall in love with the MC on sight.
It’s understandable that teenagers would get infatuated quickly, and he’s quite the catch, etcetc, but c’mon, it’s the same darn plot line every single time. It’s trite. Nobody cares.
