THEORY: the planet he went to had the same event that earth had. those lightning strikes are the same we see in the flashbacks on earth with the first dungeons too. Either they lost and the dungeons of from lost worlds, or the regression stone fucked up the world and they are still fightning, but we see the old worlds that lost. both are because of the regression stone
