pathetic f@cktards, going in a dungeon like if 3 hours training would change anything, bypassing the authority of their chief, risking their life because clearly now any dungeon can suddenly explode, including the one they go training in, and risking (like they “successfully” did) people’s lives because they can’t intervene if another dungeon explodes while they “train”.
How does it feel, coming out of your useless training and knowing that you could have saved people but you weren’t there?
Playing hero with people’s lives at stake.

Other than drama, I know that’s the reason but I hate it b/c it’s such a cop-out. 😛
So I’ve thought this for a while now, why the f didn’t the military/nations demolish everything around the dungeon to make defending it easier? Permanently stationing awakened and military support at each dungeon with a large firing range would have made breaks like this cause very little damage. I see it so often in stories like this, ancient made-up land has between outposts and massive forts defending dungeons and modern times almost always does jack shet to prepare for breaks despite it happening with increased frequency.
“Ya so even though there could be a break and dozens of blocks get trashed we’re totally fine with this dungeon being unguarded right in the middle of a housing district because the sudden appearance happened x years ago and clearly nothing like that could ever happen again.” No, f that. Build some f’ing defenses to guard the dungeon. There are literal monsters invading the planet and the worlds involved are doing a better job at defending their border than preventing monsters from flooding the residential areas.
