akane gender swap to cover her identity, she uses face accessory to cover her id now.
color inversion i would assume might have potential for camouflage.
sunraku damage inversion makes no sense as he doesnt want to get hit at all. mele cancel or close range cancel could create an opening by manipulating enemy into hitting him. but anythign that cancels his self inflicted knockbacks/fall damage seems most reasonable. the only creative idea i have now is giving one to emul, really sounds like most fun to use her as a glove -with mele damage cancel or something
Im more curious about why color inversion over literally any of the other choices. I totally get the gender inversion pick and I obviously understand all the damage cancels and inversion. But why did rust and the npc kid choose color out of all the other choices.
well my guess was close i imagined that the boss fight would be over around late December
Interesting that Akane chose gender inversion (I guess they like playing as a male. They did play as a male in the first encounter with Sunraku in BERP). Though those grails seem borderline overpowered. I could just imagine someone trying to fight Psyger-0, try to do a similar move to Armageddon to make an ironic moment, and then it just gets inversed, and they get cooked. Also, Psyger-100 is going to be livid once she sees her sister somehow become a female in-game in the secret event she snuck off to, during this time when she’s definitely still mad about the Lycagon thing.

What will sunraku choose ? I cannot think of any wacky combo with the grails beside damage reverse and stat reverse
Wait, this was supposed to be the FIRST of seven colossi fights?? Wezaemon the Tombguard seemed way easier, but I suppose we didn’t get to see the steps leading up to that final colossi fight.
At first I thought he was pissed at our party, but that fluid on the last panel must actually be the “ghosts of the origins”. Some of the blobs look like they have two eyes and a mouth/nose.
This seems like a protection quest where you’ve got to protect the good octopus from the ghosts. Hopefully it’s not a 2-hour protection quest. 
I just wanna see the developers go at it lol
Almost everyone got a Damage Inversion Chalice, which means Sunraku definitely didn’t cuz he cool like that
