To be frank:
Taxing outlaws, people of no governance, is the same as violent robbery, whereas it is even worse than that. Since they claim good- and righteousness, they deserve waaay worse than an armed robber would.
An armed robber would be deprived of their lives and in some cases (medieval standards) grant the slave status upon his kin by sinning. So Heinrick ought to live a life in sheer misery from now on, serving slaves maybe idk. I’m not a sadist, so maybe y’all are more creative rh!

‘i’ll send letters’ basically letting the son know if he finds Keigo as if he wasn’t going to be followed as well.
Also god of tax? Surprised they haven’t tried to make that religion IRL

Why do i get the feeling, that there are more than three factions looking for the MC.
Why do i get the feeling that the other noble house is NOT going to hand him over to Hendrick.

Man I was so optimistic at first about the knight searching for keigo to protect him, but then when I learned he was being monitored it just made me sad again 🙁

The old noble missing his horse and wondering where he went wrong as a parent makes him strangely relatable, i did not expect him to grow on me so much.
