This guy is like a retard that is purposefully trying to destroy his hands and feet. How conceited can you get, my “suspension of disbelief” is maxed now
mc with an inferiority complex for no reason other than plot progression
He spends days studying and not eating and he’s given slop bucket soup. They treat him like crap and physically abuse and threaten him, but he feels he has to keep his mouth shut and put up with it… Why is that ?
I mean at this point it’s almost his fault for staying in this shitty party.
When you’re skilled and your boss treats you like an ass, then the only reasonable thing to do is to get an other job somewhere else.
It’d be nice for a “Kicked out of the hero party” story to have to the MC actually resign.
The only positive thing is that his skills are probably being trained by the group and it will most likely come at his surprise once he’s kicked out.
So in the end he’s gonna become a one-man’s team, but will probably still form one with 1 or 2 low ranking adventuring babes.
I hope to be wrong though, as this setting is usually the same in all those kinds of stories.
