I’m actually amazed that the editor of this manga (surely there has to be someone on quality control) did not put his foot down, and demand this mess to be rewritten.
Like, why not have the established ego-centric leader, who can’t even recall how many abilities he has and how to use them, decide on his own flight of fancy to send the “skill lender” to his death, without considering that if he’d die, they’d also lose their poison-resistance and drop dead right then and there?
Why have everyone in the party not only agree to it (even the “genius girl”), they even planned the whole thing. They had time to think about it.
You know, like during the time they waited for the MC to gain those poison-resistance passives, so they could enter the dungeon ezpz?

I’m wondering what the genius was thinking when saying killing him was the first priority, he’d still have all the skills/points. Maybe just to get a few sp from killing a stronger pvp for poison resistance but then you still have 0 sp for all other skills to try and survive the boss let alone get back to the surface. Die a little slower … maybe …?

The interest was so much he almost died from collecting it… so he really got exactly what he was supposed to get, even if the indebted 4 didn’t have enough for even 0.01% of it. If he didn’t have Yue heal his brain he would have died from getting too overpowered in too little time
