I’d instantly do a chargeback on that credit card for the pod time. That salesman was scum. Also this is another author who has clearly never played a video game before. They seem to only have read stories about them. Permanent 10% xp buff straight from the tutorial is game breaking. It should be level capped or something. Same with the “Non-participant” class he got. He has a class. Either make him jobless or don’t. +10 to all stats seems like it’s giving him 20 free levels on top of the +50 which is probably equal to 100 levels so now he’s got a lvl 120 char right out of the tutorial for no reason.

So, his sister saw how tired her brother is, and instead of just showing him (a dude who wanted to be pro gamer) a cheque of how much money she makes from playing a game, she just zipped it. Yeah, nah, if there is no sub-plot of sister secretly hating her brothers guts, then its not logical at all.
