He was logged in for a whole 48 hours, they really haven’t cared to explain how the pod works. Sitting in the same position for that long could result in bedsores, apparently anywhere from 2-3 hours of blood supply being cut off from the skin can cause them. Then comes the water aspect, mc would be real thirsty afterwards and hungry.

I guess this is all meant to be solved with the ‘biogel’ we saw him top up in the capsule in the earlier chapters, however whether it was intentional or not the VR headset doesn’t have any cables to be able to automatically feed the player while they are in Virtual Reality.
