And the author failed to create depth and nuance by not making her demonstrate the wisdom that corresponds to her years.
If he/she had made her wise about the process of an auction etc etc, it would have made her seem more realistic and believable .
And no, her being a Royal wouldn’t make her a snotty brat. She would be trained and groomed since birth to rule a population. That means extensive lessons and teachings most people would never be exposed to.
If you want me to believe she’s a capable competent Vampire Queen, SHOW ME.
