How can the floor timer reset? Even if they did beat the boss on 10,humanity is on the 6th floor the timer is for the 6th floor. Does this mean they now have to beat the 11th floor in 90 days? Why didn’t Mc just beat 42 while he was up there if skipping floors is fair game?

It seems like a lot of people are confused how it works, but while this is only a guess, the logic behind him clearing the tenth floor is, if you have to go through a long tunnel separated into rooms, even if mc opened door 10, they still cant get to it until 6, 7, 8, and 9 are open as well, so when they get to 10 itll be open but they cant get to 10 to go to 11 until they beat 9? At least thats how it seems
