Fellas, i think the cause of this confusion (identify/enchant) is because how badly the last quote is open to interpretation.
‘It’s a power that draws out the hidden abilities of equipment.’
It makes way to interpret it as
1. It unlocks dormant abilities
Or
2. It shows it’s abilities
This wouldn’t be a problem with a little change, like “It’s a power that reveals the hidden abilities of equipment.
