Sounds like she was a prisoner for a long time, also sounds like she was kept in chains being starved. But she’s got a healthy looking body, and not heinous wounds on her wrists from being chained up. I feel like plot holes are okay however, because this is manga and if we start adding up plot holes the whole story would be looking like a donut at this point.

She’s a prisoner but some how she has a magical translation item the really could’ve done better with that.
