There’s a difference between watching them die and purposely killing them. He was finally able to feel the loss of life with his own hands, the feeling of murder. People often forget that it isn’t supposed to be an easy thing to kill another living being, he hunted animals to eat to survive but when you kill a person you don’t eat them usually unless you’re insane. He killed someone for the first time to survive and of course he’ll feel remorse as a Human Being.
