I get that the MC doesn’t want to get “used” by anyone (but God) but the whole start of this chapter makes him sound manipulating and that he doesn’t actually “care” about people. You may be able to hide your origins, but you can’t hide who you truly are for any length of time.
I don’t mind the story so much but where does this guy think he’s gonna find a peaceful life when God himself told him his existence will be a ripple that causes changes across the entire world and an ancient dragon said “yo raise my kid because you’re stronger than me.” Like huh?
WTf is the point of having all that power and not use it, Annoying ass MCS, They really need to stop making MCs like this, You are not going to have a quiet life, Stop being so damn naïve

MC continues to be annoying as predicted. Let me guess, he’ll save the town from goblins and stand out more, then say he doesn’t want to stand out. 
Why do i get the feeling that this chapter has set the stage for MC to get his world crushed.
“I don’t want to stand out.”
People gang up on him and get beaten up all the time because they believe he’s weak
“I don’t want to stand out!”
Repeatedly gets told that he’s already standing out…
“I don’t want to stand out!!!”
Goblin invasion out of nowhere and Goblin Slayer is in another castle 
“God: this is a troublesome world where i need a strong person to help fix it”
“MC:i want a peaceful life where nothing bad happens”
did you forget what the god told you? o.o
