My honest reaction when I saw the end of this chapter:
If you or someone else is being bullied in any way online or in person, talk to someone you know and trust, whether it is in person or online. Collect evidence so that you can take the bully down, and so they can’t twist your words against you. Even if you feel alone, people are willing to help you just need to let them know. Do not stay silent, it only gets worse, trust me, I have been there. And if you watch and do nothing, you are no better than the bully.
The question now is, how is he going to get brought back to himself?
His wife won’t even be born for another couple of centuries, and in a different world at that, so she’s out most likely.
Neither of his two allies in this apocalypse know of his regressing, and even if they did that wouldn’t know how to use it to reset him. More, only one of them has any real certainty of motivation for trying to help MC.
Librarian In A Corner knows pretty much everything, but won’t intervene regardless of whether they want to or not. Not sure how much they could actually help even if they did.
The only thing I can imagine working, is someone on the outside getting MCs wife and bringing her here, whether she feels something is wrong and demands of people to be brought to him or something else is the reason.
I can’t see MC getting brought before the ruling council of deities again. Not for the same “bug”, and that’s assuming it hasn’t been “patched”.
