Kinda rushed the ending of this arc, but ok
So is that a good thing or did MC just make the worst villain in the story
Redeeming oneself start with accepting wrongdoing that he make. Now to act out the process, who knows.
Maybe Aegim will not kills constellation but try beating them to near death and make them beg for forgiveness since he like how that feel lol *claps.
i didnt understand anything that was said in the latter half of this chapter but somehow it still feels profound
Maybe MC should regress so that Director can revenge all by himself as he wants?

WHAT THE FU-
I love reading people’s interpretation on these arcs
If I were in the director’s shoes, I too, would’ve had, at least, mixed feelings on the part of this trauma reliving thingamajig
On one hand, his student gave him a perfect lay up to dunk on someone that the director may have resented all his life, because he also turned a blind eye to the wrongdoings that were taking place in the past
On the other hand, his student dug up something less than pleasant to remember, just “spoon-feeding” the method for revenge to the director, where it shows less than favorable behavior of someone the director raised from childhood
The context of 95% and a year’s time before the other party changes thing somewhat. I don’t particulary know how insidious that percentage of assimilation is, but if it were an unshakeable and devious compulsion to do things the way the assimilated personality would do things, then having such a small window of wiggle room and making the assimilated personality to, quite literally, self-report is a feat in it’s own right
In summary, without being given any context, I understand the stance of the director as I also understand the spark of panic in the MC at the end. How guilty is the MC of the machinations of the assimilated personality is a difficult question, as in is the assimilated personality fully to blame or is he equal parts to blame, because he let it get to this point is spite of 95% of assimilation. However, in my eyes, MC did the best he could with the 5% he was given
Explanation for people who somehow don’t understand the themes at play:
Kim Yul, aka the person who died and later reincarnated as the constellation killer, was driven to suicide by relentless bullying. He was given a second chance at life and eventually gave up enough of his humanity (via the skill that enabled him to trade memories for power) that he dedicated himself to an all out one sided genocide on constellations. Protag, who has spent literally 100% of the series up to this point cleaning up Kim Yul’s messes, confronted him last arc to try to talk sense into him, and when that failed, try to kill him. After failing to kill him and in turn getting killed by one of his puppets, protag witnessed Kim Yul’s trauma and gained the ability to summon a copy of him. He then used the 29th floor’s gimmick to send himself, Kim Yul, and his childhood father figure (who coincidentally went to school with Kim Yul) into a copy of Yul’s trauma. After reconnecting Yul with his humanity and demonstrating to him that his current behavior mirrors the behavior of the person who drove him to suicide, Yul was given the opportunity to reflect on his actions and resolved to accept whatever punishment the world will give him for them.
the only thing im unclear on is how protag was able to summon the actual kim Yul. I assume it has something to do with Yul’s clone ability, ie. any copy made is linked to the original because the original is split between all of the copies. Something like that.
if you didn’t real this arc, go back and read it, it’s worth it.
absolute cinema 
I feel like this arc was pretty simple and at face value. Like no bigger meaning to anything than defeat bullies and CK is a strong bully they need to prepare against with their own CK who can actually empathize with the people hes wronged. Mc saw his trauma and was like dude is a huge hypocrite.
So what does teacher wanna say? thatnmc did overboard , why does mc look so flustered ?
The teacher basically means when it comes to vengeance, the avenger would want to avenge in certain way, but unnecessary help might ruin that. Aka. The Protag just gave the teacher an “easy win” rather than the teacher’s idea of helping Kim Yul.
Another thing he means is for ProTag to learn about the boundary between empathy and sympathy, so he doesn’t lose himself sympathizing for the world. In this case, he knowingly took on a role that would ultimately be sacrificed for the sake of clearing the stage, much like how he goes around promising everyone that no one would die, but him – constantly die to reset and find the optimal way – most oftenly with him sacrifying again (albeit not just his life).
But yeah, translation sucks.
