SSS-Class Suicide Hunter - Chapter 46
Comments for chapter "Chapter 46"
the way mc treated the sword seems very out of character but im just gonna let it go
hey i just thought about it, can’t the mc just kill anyone he wants now, like other humans, then summon them and they will be his slaves who are forced to do anything he wants? including living out their whole lives but also supporting him secretly?
Well, both Sword Emperor and Holy Sword can’t talk with many people, so they become more talkative
“serve MC as her 2nd owner” Founding Emperor was 1st owner? How did a holy spirit end up being sealed into 5 Holy Swords?
4th Holy Sword looks like a D 😈
MC rubs Goddess of Protection with his dirty thing?
So MC is about to collect a sword harem?
i mean, a sword that shines is still useful for blinding ur enemies, no?
Okay, now I’ll address your first point. If you think that what you said in point 1 is all there is to good storytelling, then you know almost nothing about how to tell a good story. In a good story a character isn’t just his goals. There are other things to consider to distinguish him from other characters (which I won’t elaborate here, why? because it would take up the entire length of the comment section and likely be deleted). Also, most good stories begin with the character not really knowing himself well enough to actually set relevant goals. Almost always the goal revealed first is a type of false goal, but the character doesn’t know that. He has to undergo character changes through interacting with other characters and passing through conflict, then losing something he thinks is key to what he’s doing by pursuing that goal. Then, and only then or thereafter can he move on to his real goal.
Character benefits must also be balanced by character flaws, and that is where the cost of using his King of Death abilities, becomes important. That he has to die to learn what, then how, then why he should do what he does isn’t even the hardest thing to deal with. It’s that he chooses to do it in the most painful way possible to keep himself from becoming inured to the experience.
The other two points are irrelevant to the story and are merely personal preferences that really only show your true immaturity.
1st point is very fair. This has a really artificial goal of “climbing the tower”, yet we don’t know why would he want to climb the tower for. Maybe for recognition or fame, but we see him openly rejecting these shallow things, so the story feels a bit empty and episodic.
2nd this is just a taste preference. If you want to read about an edgy teen who murders everyone who breathes next to him, there are plenty of stories like that. Nothing reallyyyy wrong with that, I can enjoy that type of character too, but I think this MC stands out of the crowd of the “generic protagonist” archetype because of how pure-hearted and kind he is. Like, he isn’t oblivious to the evil, he understands it, yet still chooses humility. I think this story shows that really well, and it’s quite refreshing
3rd point I disagree. We aren’t reading about a normal person. This is a dude who killed himself over 4000 times. Even doing it once is an impossible act for a normal person.
So instead of looking how “realistic” he is, we should look at how “consistent” he is. He was established as an envious nobody, which is a flaw that he is still dealing with. But dealing with quite well I would say. Perhaps that Envy has been drowned out by thousands of suicides? Anyways, he still holds desires for vanity and recognition, but he has committed to saving people, even the NPCs, and just in general being of pure-heart, and so far that hasn’t been betrayed.
well if you don’t like theres always hundreds of more don’t full list style just because you don’t like it just move on and keep your opinions to youself. this is how you can draw unwanted attention like rage baiters and complains. so just keep quiet on your opinions and you won’t have to deal with people responding back with hostility.
bro just insult that shitty reporter
