Seems like they are going to die soon. I guess that’s why they are elders. 
Welp, time to get rid of some elders.
The supposed elders are not actually part of the family. They were in powet from 500 years ago so i dont doubt they were brought together from distant relations to the main family and given backing to control the main family. In otherwords the elders are a leash to keep the family from biting back at the ones holding them elders power.
So because they feel threatened they will short their own family that they are supposed to raise up
Nothing worse then your own family trying to hurt you…
Man the plot is extremely similar to swordmasters youngest son and i wanted to say this earlier but i wasn’t entirely sure so i read some more chapters
1 two rival families ✅️
2 mc forms a contract with some unknown god ✅️
3 mc having power related to thunder ✅️
4 1st son is ambitious and the daughter does not care about family matter✅️

Although the plot is similar i am not hating this manhwa and enjoy reading this. I just wanted to point this out.
Sigh. Oh look. The conspiracy against the MC gets even more petty, instead of the author developing the plot about history being suppressed.
This plot is gonna derail like a chemical train in Ohio, I can already feel it coming.
