This could have been really interesting. If he needed to learn cooking or painting skills himself in order to level up his disciples, or if he needed to sidequest for rare ingredients. Something to make it like a game or a puzzle, instead of just “oh, I need to do a thing. Oh, I somehow did the thing”

I guess this is why manhua get so much disrespect

This story reeks of “I’ve got an idea but I don’t want to carry it through so let’s just asspull the MC to OP level… well I don’t really know what to do with the MC anymore”.

It’s chapter 6 and the MC is already the side character of this story.
