A blacksmith who didn’t immediately throw a bitch-fit upon seeing how horribly dressed he is or how weak he looks/smells/feels because of some nebulous sense of unnecessary pride?
I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen that in a rpg-fantasy before.

You know why people treat you like garbage? Because you look like one. Seriously, why does this kind of story when the MC got powerful and rich they still wear stuff that hobo is wearing, at least solo leveling MC change to better attires everytime he got majorly advance…. First impression is still important, I saw a YouTube short of an (asian) movie about a guy getting inheritance from his lost father/grandfather, and that guy wear kinda like MC in this manhua is wearing, a hoodie and jeans..maybe sweatpants can’t remember exactly but the dude looks poor as sh*t.. so when he got documents whatever he decided he need to meet with his father/grandpa so he enter into an office building but then immediately was stopped by security, he explains and the guard doesn’t believe him… 🤦 You know how hard it is to get stop by a security in office building if you look good, those security don’t do sh*t if you wear a polo shirt and slack pants..
