That morse code machine is grade-A BS. MC hasn’t even developed radio technology so there is no way to make a ‘wireless’ morse typer.
On top of that, the author went ahead and made it a typewriter that automatically sends the right morse signal for what you type and somehow and understand radio response and print them automatically which is only within the realm of computers.
You wouldn’t have needed a morse operator if it was that easy. That is why until computers, someone who understood morse code was always needed to translate.
