Steel-Eating Player - Chapter 11
Comments for chapter "Chapter 11"
At all:
Yes. That is a dagger. And the TL might be wrong. Or it might not be, and the author is poetic here.
By the way, the dagger in question is the M7 bayonet.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M7_bayonet
And when you have it attached to a rifle you really wield it with both hands.
• The most common native term is “총검” (chŏng-geom). The word is a compound:
– 총 (chŏng) meaning “gun”
– 검 (geom) meaning “sword” or “blade.”
After researching that, my working hypothesis is the author correctly called it a gun-sword (/gun-blade) and the TL saw 검 (in 총검) and assumed something_sword. Or he couldn’t make sense of 총검.
From context I think both TLs (this and webtoon) are wrong, and MC talks the whole time of the M7 bayonet.
Why is everyone here screaming or having their mouth open when they show the face, Well, it’s mostly mouth being covered by hand if not.
tho the military side characters costume does make sense as it’s reasonable to be wearing that.
where the hell is literally everybody, the clan? the superiors? where are they
those great swords are…. there average size right?
My greatswords are perfectly adequate thank you very much
Why did the author call these toothpick “greatswords” ?! It’s just knives, small knives, a great sword is a two handed sword… Why… So dumb !
“What’s wrong with my Greatswords?!?”
“Erm..well sir..it’s a bit small..”
If that’s a greatsword, then she’ll be happy with a sword
Behold the glory that is the Blade Barrier, loved that spell in D&D.
Greatswords?!?! Those are daggers! There is a SLIGHT difference between those toothpicks and greatswords!
