So the system will literally kill villain candidates if they don’t finish quests and actually become villains. That’s royally f*cked.
He knew the guard wasn’t there because he had a scar on his face and about the great swords I think was a translation issue because in the first chapter it’s called a bayonet
also you’d think with knowledge of the future, knowing he got a fucking scar on his face seems like detail that is hard to miss, really dumb author…

I don’t understand how metal is supposed to lose to wood regardless. Literally, all wood-cutting tools are made of metal; chainsaws, handsaws, drills, bits, wire pull cutters, and awls. Of course, if he had brought wedges or blades of metal instead of round balls he could cut and slash much better (even against the spiders). I know he didn’t want to get caught carrying weapons but even flat round discs would be better for slicing up things. He could even use coins for more damage in that blender move. The main benefit to setting fire will be that it will self-propagate on that wood so he won’t need to spend as much magic energy to maintain the blender cutting move. I still look forward to seeing the growth of this MC.
