Eh, fights don’t last this long. Nobody keeps fighting after breaking much of anything, esp. not a rib or two. Nobody shrugs off a hit by any kind of metal or rock, esp. to the head.
And if you put someone down, you break something so they don’t come back up.
If these series wanna play at “gritty violence”, why do they a) never depict damage realistically and b) never show people staying down due to significant breakage? Humans are designed to have issues when we break shit.
Gotta be something I’m not understanding abt the genre, cuz both of these problems are endemic to this specific genre.
