yeah, that was dumb. It was not the best play out of everyone in the group she was looking for the woman right in front of her I know there’s limited information, but walking away was not the best call
If he did not have a broken guideline he would be level 100 something. But it IS broken and he IS a lvl 5. He has not gained the skills he would normally get as he progressed in levels so he has just the three (or the normal two plus the combination cross). because he COULD NOT get higher than lvl 5 but the lvls of enemies incresed he has also been able do develop aura.
He has higher stats than most would at that lvl and he also has to accumulate the experience normally necessary for , say lvl 120(a far higher amount), just to go up to lvl six.
He IS LEVEL 5—but his level five is on par with a much higher level.
That said, the levels gained by angels are not directly comparable either as the absorb and evolve through the skills of their prey as well as gaining normal levels. Just goes to show that the berserk tribesman guy is correct—levels often don’t mean much at all more than a general guide.
To those that want to see hanbin’s actual lvl, it’s lvl 5. It’s just his stats that are on par with a lvl 150-160 and needs an astronomical amount of xp to lvl up.

Ryu Hanbin’s guideline is broken. This means that although it shows him as a lv 5, he is not a lv 5. Every time he leveled up and reset back to one, he didn’t actually go back to lv 1, since his stats progressed normally. THE LEVEL DISPLAY IS BROKEN, BUT HIS REQUIRED EXP TO NEXT LEVEL REFLECTS HIS ACTUAL LEVEL. That means that if he needs 500 million xp to level, his actual level is closer to the Sword King’s who is lv 200+
And yes, Atisse giving his life force to Ephyr is smart, because dragons level up based on their age and life force. The longer a dragon lives, the more life force they need to level up. Atisse is 151 years old while Ephyr is like 80, so Atisse’s life force would cause Ephyr’s level to skyrocket.

This is another plot hole. They can only absorb so much life energy before they get “Soul Indegestion” and have to spend long periods of time digesting the soul energy. Instantly taking in 10 times an amount of soul energy higher than your level should not be possible.
