with most stories, you can somewhat see taking the same actions as the mc even if you have a different personality. but with this mc it’s completely irrational and is intentional trying to rage bait the reader. i doesnt make sense that even after 10 years of being all alone that he is just the same person practically (thinking wise). to be honest i’d prefer if he was evil the whole time wanting the downall of others, because this is some amazing rage bait.

Aint no way he could still think what is left and right after who knows how much time he was in Hell, he definitly gone insane multiple time when he was there.

I think alot of people are missing the point
the MC is very psychologically far gone he lived his life on repeat for 10 years (insanity) thrust back into reality only to be told that since he is an “otherworld” everything he cares or loves will be brutally slaughtered. He doesn’t want to show the truth because he is scared he will lose the only person to ever be around him or who has ever been around him. BRO is psychologically broken and messed up by far.
