He needs his power from the previous world. All that exp he gained made him a god. He literally blew up the Earth.
Ormphalos was really eager for that second round
Would’ve been cool to see all of the regression stuff, reuniting with dead / old chars for new dialogue… yeah just make the entire plot happen offscreen I guess and have random OP minions appear that Omphalos definitely would have used during his descent in the first run if they were there 
How do you guys think they can resist? If fighting omphalous destroys the world, then wouldn’t a fight between demigods destroy good chunks of the planet each time?
