The Barbarian is like having a greater demon in your party. Sure he may say he is friendly but his actions are not the factor that made you afraid of him to begin with. If a Balrog/Bloodthirster started asking you kindly for your nations history after powdering a massive enemy threat you would be nervous too.
everyone is saying MC prolly has a scary aura but maybe he is just ugly, like others characters I’ll never mention…

someone already mentioned it, but the barbarian must be radiating some sort of aura because everyone is terrified of him even when he tries to make a smiley impression. his eyes are constantly glowing murderous intent. the story would have made a bit more sense it it gave us that line in the 1st chaption. that alone would explain all the misunderstandings
When did he get that axe on his hip? And they better not start any trouble he is just chilling
The misunderstandings are funny, but I wish he would mention he came from the white lands to ease the misunderstanding. Funny though.
