I had some concerns but yeah they switched the order of what happens kettle does not immediately deal with the nanos he does after learning a little bit of alchemy introduced through Meleina alchemist is an high elf after some tutelage when it’s revealed that kettle is too vast of a being to naturally feel or produce mystery because to produce mystery you need to be able to at least feel it that’s when he decides to deal with the nano issue and get those particles.
The order that happend in the light novel was barbarian gets to castle with Elena meets Mileina then aclchmey through high elf after some tutelage and mystery reason pops up he deals with the nanos after meeting them then he brings back the more nano beads or whatever he compressed them into makes catalyst for mystery and boom kettle now can cultivate mystery

I have seen hate for this, but I really enjoy this story. Its cliche complete OP but considering how much the OPM anime was ruined this hits a good spot
