did mc lower himself to her speed and etc. at the beginning or did he adapt to her (boost up), because i dont see a reason for him to take the first hits for free. Was he afraid of one shotting her? Most likely he was just enjoying the new experience. I hope we will see more muscle mommys
I’m guessing because it was the merchant’s “trial” to hunt the dragon- The merchant can interfere if the participants fight each other rather than complete the mission.

The merchant is Alot stronger than we think.

Well, mc better get the dragon heart then 
So my guess is that he wished for the heart of a dragon. She wished for a soulmate that could rival her power. Both thought the black dragon was supposed to be the fulfillment of their wish. Both find out each other was instead. The “heart” was actually her affection. And the “soulmate” was actually the Barbarian.
The space between her wings above her head makes a perfect heart. Her and Ketal also look like they are having the time of their life. She is actually perfect for him.
Merchant just had to intervene when the b*tch used the kaio-ken. I was looking forward to seeing Ketal batting her away again.
